Casually Cursed is a systems design project that focuses on casual discrimination among teenagers in educational spaces.
Discrimination does not always have to end directly in unequal opportunities. Many a times, disparagement humour, name calling and bullying can harm a person's confidence and psychological health beyond repair.
Three of us, Me, Kopal and Chirag, spent 6 months conducting listening workshops, digital privilege walks and expert interviews to understand the cycle of victim to perpetrator. We came across personal stories of people across the length and breadth of the country.
This research and user interaction intensive project gave us an opportunity to conduct a workshop on Social privileges at RSD10, TU Delft , Netherlands.
